Tom: E
Album: Animosity
Lyrics: Clink Lowery & Lajon Witherspoon
Transposed by: Thomas Flowers
Okay, I have looked at some of the other peoples tablature for this song, and honestly I could
not believe how off they are, even though the authors seem so sure that they're right. Some
people say that the song is played in drop-
D tuning with 2 guitars, and other people say that
it's not even detuned. Well, guess what THEY'R
E ALL WRONG!! So without further ado, I will show
you how to play the song correctly, and you will sound almost identical to the Clint Lowery on
the Album.
It doesn't matter what type you use, but I prefer to use heavier strings.
Okay, Just to clear something up, to play the song you WILL have to detune your guitar. The song
is played in drop-
D flat(b) ex.= Db,Ab,Db,Gb,Bb,Eb. To achieve this you must first detune your
whole guitar down half a step. Then drop the low E-string as you would normally do to put it in
drop-D. The high e string is not played throughtout the whole song so try to avoid hitting it.
And one more thing. From listening to the song, I have heard that the acoustic part is played
by only 1 person, though I guess it can be played by 2 but I'm not sure why anyone would want to.
